Worship and Music
The ministry of worship and music is guided by a Worship and Music Committee. David Hernandez is the director of music who leads four choirs and praise band :
1) Adult choir (Joy choir)
2) Bell choir (Bells Angels)
3) Youth choir (JR/SR High Youth)
4) Childrens choir (ages 4-10)
5) Praise band
David utilizes talents of members for special music. A volunteer Praise band, leading one service for several years, has exceptional musical talent, and the contemporary worship has fostered membership growth. Numerous volunteers from our congregation are regularly called upon for lay participation in various aspects of worship. Seasonal “pulpit exchange” with other Lutheran churches has been a good opportunity for variety. Multi-media and variety in worship resources has been a strength that is appreciated.
